    Coronavirus - II

A co-worker told me today that he wasn't going to wear a mask anymore. I didn't tell him I wear one to protect myself or others, (I do) or because the government mandated it. I told him I wear one out of RESPECT. Respect for those people who are face to face with many people everyday. That got...

    [Review] - ThruNite T1 - XHP50 Neutral White, 1500lm, 18350, micro-USB - by Lock

Re: [Review] - ThruNite T1 - XHP50 Neutral White, 1500lm, 18350, Micro-USB - By Lock Yes, I use it as a cap light for work. It has a wide hot spot with bright spill. Its a bit heavy but the beam shape works better for my progressive lenses then the TK16, S10, E16, S1 and S1 Mini.

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Acebeam H50 in Nichia, because my wife permanently borrowed my Nitecore HC30. And its a neat headlamp with great tint and CRI. ThruNite T1 because I wanted another cap light and to try out the variable UI. The UI is pretty nice, tint isn't great but I can live with it. ThruNite TH10 V2 because I...

    Which Thrower Beyond A 1 x 18650?

Comfort is also a factor if you are carrying the light in your hand for an extended period, such as a long walk. My hands are on the smaller side so I prefer the long thin lights to the short fat lights.

Both lights have the same emitter and specs. for throw and modes. According to the specs if the light is in turbo...

What do you expect in life?

For me it's more about hope than expectations. I'm a twenty year cancer survivor, I never really expected to live to see my children grow up but I hoped I would. Now that they are grown, I hope to bounce a grandchild on my knee sometime fairly soon. Expecting things out of life and people is a...

What did you use your flashlight for today?

I was doing traffic control for a coworker, he was taking longer than anticipated. My fingers were getting real cold so I used my EC22 on high as a handwarmer.

What was your favorite/best flashlight of 2018

My favorite big light is the Fenix FD65, For the good tint, up and down UI and Good flood in between and spot beams. Small light is the Olight S1 mini HCRI, Great size for clipping to a ball cap, good beam and the cri is good for working with colored wires. And my best looking light is the...

EDC for active military, inferred, red and green LEDs CI6 or MH23 or other?

The Streamlight Sidewinder? the colored leds have four modes and a much better beam than the CI6. The white light is only 55 lumens, which is more than enough for most tasks. It can also be mounted to your gear or helmet, which could come in handy.
