Pre Blue-Label customs are numbered #0001 to #0149 (four digit, white sticker)
Ready-Made lights start at #0150 (four digit, white sticker)
Blue-Label lights start at #100 (three digit, blue/gold sticker)
Starting in late 2018 serial numbers will be lasered
Prefixed with A for alpha, Suffixes: RM= Ready Made BL=Blue Label

Maybe a point to clarify, as I don't know: Are each series numbered differently (Ready Mades, Blue Label, etc) or are all the lights that come out of Jason's shop just numbered sequentially regardless of what they are?

Serial number 124 here.

Taking the head off to get the number... just reminded me how well the Alpha is made, how good the threads feel and how solid this thing is!
I can not wait to receive the other I have on order...I will post its number when I get it :D

Thanks for posting guys! I have updated the list so far. I lumped them all together for now, but perhaps Jason can comment on my question below if he stops in and if necessary, I can make separate lists for different series.

I am very impressed with this light so far after a few days of ownership. It is very well made, and the beam is fantastic! I love the wall of light! It is reminiscent of my my old Lux V L4, though much brighter. Very nice. I was going to build on a 6P platform, a new big bright winter light, but I am really happy I went this way. I think this light (especially the Ready Made) is a good buy at the price they are offered. I really don't think you'll get a much better combination of quality and performance for less than this, and the fact that they are hand assembled just adds to the cool factor.

Mine was made just over a year ago now. That was before the distinction between blue-labels and ready-mades. It is the only light that has remained in my collection for this long! All other lights mostly come and go within a couple months.

I LOVE my Alpha.

Hey all, I like the thread :) I'll mostly stay out of it but wanted to clarify the serial numbers...as much as possible.

Ready-Made lights start at #0200 (four digit, white sticker)
Pre Blue-Label customs are numbered #0001 to #0199 (four digit, white sticker)
Blue-Label lights start at #100 (three digit, blue/gold sticker)

Basically any light with a four digit sticker less than #0200 is an older custom. Any light above that is a Ready-Made. Blue-Labels are identified by the three digit number and of course the blue and gold...label (get it?) I'm not sure what happens when I get to #999 for the Blue-Labels...but that horizon is pretty distant :)

When I get a chance I will ammend the first post to reflect the different series and numbering conventions. I mistakenly added 0s to some that shouldn't have them I think.

At any rate, it's always fun to see how many are out there and who has what. I am really digging my Ready Made!

I have a Stonewashed one with no number sticker in the tube. It's about a year old as well. The card with it says custom.

I have an Alpha "Saber" 4500K XM-L. Serial number 0120. Pre Blue Label :D

Just had a nightmare (literally), that my battery was dead, so I'm charging it now and ordering a spare or two from AW :)

4500K MC-E Serial 0159. Perfect flood beam with the MC-E emitter perfectly matched to the reflector - perfection!! You will notice in my photos that the lights' body has a nice pertina due to heavy use. This is amongst my most used lights and has proven 100% reliable.

I may have switched the numbers @ 150 instead of 200. My record keeping is less than stellar :( maybe when more people post it will become clear :)
