Brooklands, Brooklands, Brooklands, just what is Brooklands?
A place with cars...
...and planes with plane parts...
...and torches!
And CPFers, too.
Highlight of the Museum for me.
Light it up, Jay!
This really is a major feat of engineering and ingenuity. Capable of subjecting the test planes to low pressure, wind, ice, snow and rain - all without leaving the ground!
Shock-horror as CPFer tries to pocket an Earthquake Tall Boy Bomb!
This was an outstanding fun evening, chaps. Great to see our friendly crowd playing with the tools we love the most (Torches!). Brook lands made us very welcome and we stayed in the car park chatting long after others had left.
Throw Kings were demonstrably still the Thrunite TN42 (Jay and I), but there was a good assortment of small EDC types used throughout the evening.
The 'Muggle' torches that everyone else brought for the night are getting stronger and better, many Chinese bright LED lights were in evidence.
Also a hearty "well done" the Count Dracula, who kept us entertained with a virtuoso performance on his Saxophone through the dinner (No fangs though).
There are more Torchlit tours here over the next few months - anyone for another go?
