Sentosa would be great, the imbiah trails and forest trails at night are pitch black as well. And they link to the sea.
Sounds like a great idea!!!!

Oh ya... There's also Pulau Ubin. Getting there isn't a problem and as long as we keep a few of the boatmen's mobile numbers handy, we can charter a boat back anytime in the night. Yet another pitch black location for shining our lights around! Supper at Changi Village will also be convenient once we're back on the mainland!
For some time I have been getting people here to join me to Ubin but no one seems keen. As for me, I frequent that island so much the villagers there claim that I am there doing my guard duty.Oh ya... There's also Pulau Ubin. You don't have to complete the whole trail. You just need to cover some areas and it is more than enough for you to play your lights there.Ubin is more rustic and relatively "wilder" in terms of atmosphere but its trail size is huge and easily takes 6 or more hrs to cover.
Ubin or Sentosa, I'd be in for either or both!
In the latter case, you may have to get the boatman to ferry us from Ubin to Sentosa!

One thing about Sentosa - you will not find a taxi if you need one. So unless you're driving, timing tolerances have to be very tight.
Trust me, it would take you two hours to get there. Lol!In the latter case, you may have to get the boatman to ferry us from Ubin to Sentosa!
Gotta love this idea. Me no hardcore but me love the fun of trekking.Hmmm... A new variety of meet-ups: Survival trek! Trek until you drop or until the sun rises!
We can slowly walk back to Vivo or harbourfront centre.....or the best place to find a cab in Sentosa.....RWS!!!! Wahahaha
Me too! For ubin we can even camp for the night.....
