Just a quick note. 4sevens preon clips (the current preon) are now available. They fit the copper, ti, brass tools as well as the Thrunite ti5 series as well as the Preon (of course). $5.

Note: if this clip ends up being made, and is deep carry, it will still be a lot better.

I checked there before I posted. They only have the old Preon clips as far as I could tell. No accessories show up under the accessory tab for the new Preons. The Preon clip for $5 without a picture says it's for the "classic" Preons.

Ah, that's​ the one I saw, but I found it looking for older Preon parts, and just quickly saw "classic". It doesn't show up under the new Preons accessory page.

I didn't even see a new preon accessories page. I've been checking this page for like 6 months.

I check that page often, too, since the Ti Preons sold out. I bookmarked it from the classic Preon accessory tab. When I click that accessory tab on the new Preon page nothing shows up.

Thanks gunga, I am working with another shop now that does laser so thinking stainless steel.

So I guess the question now is, who is still interested in a deep carry clip?

I am. The Preon clips are decent and cheap but deep carry is a big benefit. It does depend on the cost somewhat but I remain interested.

FYI. Here is the new preon clip on the ti tool, copper tool, and thrunite ti5t. Note that the Thrunite has a tab on the body that must be filed off to use the clip. I'm currently satisfied with the Thrunite clip so have not filed it off.

Do you have an hds universal clip? Can your friend redo the steel clip part of it? Shorter, with more elegant curves?

I do not have an hds universal clip. I am not really friends with him, I worked with his wife. So we'd have to order a bunch or, of course, it would be really expensive.
