Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I currently carry a Lumintop Tool 219b in a slip sheath in my back pocket. I would totally be down to replace it with a Malkoff, as long as the Malkoff isn't noticeably larger diameter and has good tint and modes. A simple hi/lo twist with a rear clicky for on off would be ideal.

So yeah. Count me in.

Good thinking HA! I wonder if Gene already has some designs or mock ups for a AAA light, or if he would be starting from scratch based off of seeing that he has folks wanting something like this from him.
So, if we each take two, we only need four more people. :D

I'd be in for whatever version was released. From 1000k to 8000k. Make it happen.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

thankfully, no.

AAA has no advantages over AA, very minor size diff and 1/2 the capacity

AAA and the CR2 should all be dumped in the Atlantic ocean.

AAA to AA is what CR2 is to 123.

AAA is half the size of AA. To me, AA is too bulky for daily carrying around. My AAA is always clipped in my pocket and I don't even feel it there. Could never say the same thing about any of my AA lights. Everyone's mileage may vary, but I'll keep my beloved AAA's out of the ocean. :grin2:
