I've been completely happy with my Factor Equipment Ghost 130. It works great, holds a charge longer than I've been able to resist topping it up, and the stainless steel doesn't show any wear after riding around with my keys for a few months.

Overall I LOVE my 10180 MecArmy mini light (Just got them about 2 weeks ago). I have one for me and one for my wife for our key-chains!!!

We have a smart house so the amount of keys on it is minimal anyways

The ONLY gripe I have is how fragile the gaskets are when taking the head on & off to charge it

I like the Astrolux M01 as it is the only 10180 light with a nichia 219B in it

there is a Nichia Hobi Plus Copper due out end of the month

Do you know if the Astrolux M01 uses PWM?

I have two main criteria
1. High CRI
2. NoPWM

afaict, only Astrolux offers a Nichia in a 10180
besides the M01, there is also an M02, both are very inexpensive on Banggood right now

it appears Astrolux is the only maker that uses Nichia, and does not offer copper body.

fwiw, the M01 Nichia LED is MUCH cooler than my Lumintop Tool w Nichia

Im also tempted by the Copper Jetbeam mini-1cu, but it is cool white. I suspect the led pill of the M01 or M02 would fit in a Jetbeam, Cooyoo, or Mecarmy, but have not tried.

the Jetbeam and Astrolux versions use a tail Cap than is part of what I hold when twisting the head, not ideal, I have to set the tailcap tightly to prevent unscrewing it by mistake when Im trying to turn the light off. imo the Cooyoo/Mecarmy versions that use a Tail Plug that goes into the body instead of Over the body, makes for an easier grip on the body.

It isn't yet the best, but it is going to be when I find a ceramic socket and aluminum reflector for it (glass lens shouldn't be difficult to find, nor an appropriate lamp). The best 10180 flashlight is clearly the MagLite incan Solitaire running 2x10180 w/ spacer. Anyway, OP posted in the wrong forum... this should be in general light forum, because, as you are all now aware, the best 10180 flashlight isn't an LED flashlight.

thanks for making me aware of the option.. XQ-E LED, low mode of 20 lumens, mode memory, and tighten to turn off.. all unusual for the 10180 offerings.. Maybe someone will post beam color comparisons among the 10180 lights.. there are 3 different LEDs being used, afaict.. Nichia, XP-G2, XQ-E

Based on this post I ordered the Astrolux M01 a couple days ago. I just got a DQG Spy warm tint, but I paid a bit more because there is no charge port built in. The Spy is pure flood though, and for a backup/show off light, pure flood is not that impressive. It is quite small however and a very nice light! But.... you might as well not get pure flood for this type of light, because our cell phones have pure flood built in ( even though it is not warm tint lol).

The clip is pretty wobbly on mine and it is screwed into the light from inside the tail,I am scared to try to tighten it at all lest I break off the screws before it gets tight?
It will tail stand too if you are careful.

Congrats! I have been curious about the DQG offerings for a while.. I think the Maratac peanut flashlight might be their work as well..
I look forward to a side by side beam color comparison of your M01 and Spy.. and your thought on the CRI of the two.. maybe a photo of a banana, an orange and a strawberry … hmm getting hungry now

I really like the looks of the clip on the Jetbeam Mini-1 Ti.

I also like to clip a light to my hat at times, the Mini-1 Ti would do that well

The ghost looks nice, but no Nichia option, keeps my wallet in my pocket, thats also what holds me back from the Mini-1 Ti.
