...And I think it will be several more Emisar lights from Hank. Including a few custom ones.

Already having 71 lights, I certainly don't need any more, but there are emitters / tints I am curious about, and having hCRI lights readily available around the house is something I have found a big use for. With a long winter, with many dark days, a low output, wide spread hCRI light just feels comfortable to use indoor.

A couple will be one or the other for general purpose.
Here is my list, in desired priority:

Noctigon K1 Thrower (fun light)
Green body + W1 Green emitter

Emisar D4K (fun light / red light therapy)
Stone White body + Red switch LED + SST-20 Deep Red emitter + tail magnet

Dual Channel D4K Titanium (titanium EDC)
Raw titanium body + Blue switch light + E21A 3500K + E21A 4500K (I love this emitter combo almost beyond words) + tail magnet
OR
Dual Channel D4K Titanium Colourful
Flames body + RGB switch LED + E21A 3500K + E21A 4500K emitter + tail magnet
OR
Convoy S21G Glossy Titanium
519A + 4500K + 4 modes

2 more Wurkkos FC11C 4000K 519A

2x Convoy T3 Glossy Titanium (keychain light - currently got Nitecore Tip SS's)
519A + 4500K + 4 modes

Noctigon K9.3 (travel / hotel inspection light)
Black body + Red switch LED + SST-20 4000K + 365 nm UV emitter
OR
Triple Channel Emisar D4K Titanium
Raw titanium body + Green switch LED + SST-20 4000K + W2 Green + 365 nm UV emitter + tail magnet

Convoy S21A MAO (new emitter test - don't have anything with the LH351D)
LH351D + 5000K + 4 modes

And lastly, having just considered a 21700 mule light, I found these today:

For me, I think D4K + 16x E21A (8x 3500K + 8x 4500K) + white or blue body + titanium bezel, switch and tail cap.
Or titanium body + brass bezel and ring. Just something over the top in bling, as this will mostly be another art piece.

With one order every month, I should be catered for until 2026. ^^

EDIT:
Fixed second Reddit link.

Looks like a good plan. You have my favorite Convoy brand on the list so that’s a good start. I may get a Titanium convoy sooner or later. I like the Stone Washed version personally but that’s just me. Possibly an S21 maybe on my short list this year.
Good Hunting!

"2 more Wurkkos FC11C 4000K 519A" can be scratched off the list. They arrived yesterday.

That order also included a TS10 (considered as a keyring upgrade option), which is why I have been dragging my US size 15 (EU 50) feet in ordering any other keyring options from Convoy or elsewhere. The TS10 is unusable for me for that use, and now there is the Chinese new year celebration, so everything seems on hold until February, plus extra delay in fulfilling backorders during this period.

Am set on a "Noctigon K1 Thrower with W1 Green" as the next one. But since this will now likely not be until February, I am thinking there will be an order from Convoy around that same time too, with a T3 Ti and C8 / C8+ UVC / 850 nm IR.

The Convoy order will likely also a include a "S21D 519A 2700K 60° TIR". With winter still holding up, and the mornings are still black, I want something in my bedroom I can turn on for at least a fictive sunrise colour once the alarm clock has rung. Also considering a "M21B GT FC40 1800K" for this use.

...The "priority" list is highly fluid, as I keep finding new lights that I want!
And I just sold my Emisar dual-channel DW4, White, E21A 3500K + 4500K. Hank mixed up my order, and it's been bugging me every time I saw the light.
So I will replace it with a dual-channel DW4K with the same configuration. Hoping he will put up a White option by the time I am ready to order.

Current plans for February is my "morning sun"-light
Emisar DT8K Stone White, Amber switch LED, E21A 2000K

And if the bill for mounting my new Lazer Triple-R 24 Elite (+ Rigid 504815 and Osram PX-5) is not as exorbitant as I fear it may be, I got some Convoys I want too.
T3 Titanium glossy, AA / 14500
C8 Grey UVC 255 nm, 18650 + protective filter
C8+ Tan, SST-10-IR 850 nm, 18650

White DT8K 2000K "morning sun" can also be removed from my wishlist. ❤️

...Okay, that's starting rolling the ball on my "dream light" order:
Emisar D4K Titanium Colorful "Flame" mule
16x E21A, 8x 3500K + 8x 4500K
RGB switch LED
Deep pocket clip
Magnetic tailcap
Extra Raw Copper bezel + extra Raw Titanium magnetic tailcap

115 USD + mule option + the extras. Sent Hank a message today.

And that's the birthday dream light ordered.

Emisar_D4K_Ti_Flames.jpg

Wasn't even as expensive as I expected it to be. $145 instead of the $190 I was prepared to pay.
...Don't tell Hank I said that. ^^

Guess it's either the Emisar K1 W1 Green thrower or a various Convoy order for March then.

GAHH!! Why does Hank have to have so many options that I want!?
My poor wallet...
Also, having recently sold my Stone White DW4 in favour of wanting the DW4K instead, I need Hank to release it in White soon.

As I already have a Green W1 (Noctigon K1) thrower on my list (was consired as the March purchase), I am now looking at a Noctigon K1.12 instead. W2 Green in the center throw channel + 219BT 4500K (or 519A 5700K de-dome).

But I think I will get a Convoy L21B with a KP CSLPM1.F1 Green LED first, just to get a cheaper taste of a green thrower before I "throw more green" at a more expensive light.

@jon_slider Everytime I search for beam shots or tint comparisons, I see your name popping up. Reddit, Budgetlightforums, elsewhere where other people are referencing your pictures. Many thanks for all your comparisons!

You're saving me so much money, by not having to buy everything just to see for myself what I want (taking back a little of the thanks for making me want to buy all the new lights with the tint + and new emitters I do end up wanting ^^). But buying 1 light instead of 10 is still a saving!

Or 10 Hank lights, instead of 100...

The DT8K E21A 2000K has arrived.
...And WOW, this one will be a benefit in the dark mornings!

Used it this morning, gently directly in my face at first, then full Turbo at a half meter distance for a few moments...and it felt like my brain really thought the sun was coming up, and started to wake up.

Really glad I went with the more powerful DT8K over the D4K, but I could have used something even more powerful.
...It really is not easy to match the sun with something handheld. :/

I am considering getting the DW4K with the same LED too, so maybe both together will really do it for me.
But not even 2000K is as amber as I expected. Still, it emits a beautiful, really warm light.

And the D4K Ti Colourful just arrived at sorting office. Expected 6 days remaining until delivery. ❤️

That's a Convoy T3 Titanium, C8+ IR and C8 UVC ordered.
Plus a random L21B Green light thrower. Went with a cheaper option before laying down the 90-100 USD for an Emisar K1 or DM1.12.

I need some help here - this will likely not be before July, but...which of these should I go for?
Convoy S21G Glossy Titanium, 519A 4000K, linear driver
Anyone knows if Simon does the " Golden Circuit" texture for the 21700 Ti models...?

OR

Emisar D4K Glossy Titanium (possibly mule), 519A with dome 4000K, LumeX1 driver
Any particular reason why Hank's is almost twice the price?

Light will be used as a Convoy T3 Titanium EDC replacement.

BTW --

Can someone here offer me (us) a brief summary
of the Myriad variety of emitters offered by Hank ? ? ?

I understand the various Color temperatures and CRI.
But what about Dome vs DeDome ?

And which ones would have a bit more Throw ?

Note: I am NOT obsessed with
Ultimate High Lumens !

Thank You for your assistance here.

I have no opinions, just a small note: if you pick the S21G, rather than the linear driver, get the 8A buck one, it's considerably more efficient. You can ask Simon for it on the purchase notes.
Thanks for the tip. Are there any downsides with a buck driver? I have never modified a light myself, so all the different drivers are unknowns to me.
Also, are there any added cost with the 8A buck driver? The cost itself is a non-issue, but how would I go about paying for it? I couldn't find a "for the price difference" (Hank) over at Simon's site.

And if the driver requires 8A from the battery (up from 6), that is also a non-issue. From what I have read on the spec sheet, I plan on getting the Molicel P50B with all of the lights.

Took me some time, but I think I finally understand the dome vs de-dome difference.

The dome is simply the "dome" (as the name implies) of the LED or "emitter cap".
De-doming is removing that cap.

De-dome (modification) on the left - with dome (standard) on the right.

I don't want to derail my own thread too much, but my favourite Hank LED so far is the Nichia E21A 3500K + 4500K mix. That 4000K is simply beautiful. Downside is it isn't very powerful. Low Lumen count.

But if CRI and tint is what you are after (if so, good choice) instead of maximooom Uber-Lumens, then also have a look at the Nichia 519A. It too offers excellent CRI and tint, and as far as I can tell with my limited experience with it, it is simply a brighter, more powerful E21A.
The 519A is also a larger die / LED-chip compared to the E21A, so it can also handle higher voltages (i.e. more Lumen). A de-domed LED becomes warmer / lower Kelvin (1200K-1500K less, I think) for some reason.

The LH351D is a Samsung die, but I have no personal experience with it. It is the "rosy tint" (pink-like edge around the beam) one as far as I know, which some people like (I have decided I don't like it, without even seeing it).

The SST-20 is made by Luminus Devices, and seems to be more of a "basic, standard LED". Works fine, but nothing fancy. I honestly don't know whether I have a light with that chip.

Why, oh WHY did I stumble across this thread ? ? ?

It's not like I need MORE flashlights !
Doesn't sound a "need" to me, but more of a "potential want". There is a difference. But do feel free to let yourself get inspired from my list. ;)

This thread is just my personal wishlist...arguably for no particular reason. I just want to try for myself and learn about the different LEDs and different usecases. Such as the various uses of UV and light therapy. But also simple (i.e. more advanced and more powerful) upgrades of lights I already have and use the most.

With June well underway, and my Convoy order to be, well, ordered ASAP™ as the paycheck just arrived, I am already considering my July buy.

I have pretty much decided NOT to go for the Convoy S21G Glossy Titanium as mentioned above (it is also out of stock at the moment), and am looking at the Emisar D4K Titanium dual-channel, 519A 2700K + 5700K with dome. I keep hearing (reading) good things about that specific mix and from what I can find, that mix also has a very good R9-rating - even better than the standalone 519A 4000K, which I initially considered.

I was hoping to get the Lume X1-driver too, but it seems that is impossible on a dual-channel light, as each channel requires its own driver, and there is simply not enough space in the light for 2 drivers.

But I see the Titanium-models, and apparently only them, still only being offered with the old rubber button. Does anyone know whether Hank also offers the D4K Ti-models with the stainless-steel button option, like the regular D4K?

I think I need to ask Hank about the Lume X1-driver too, as I don't need the 2 channels separated. 2x 519A 2700K + 2x 519A 5700K in a single-channel D4K Ti with the driver I think would be perfect for what I am after here.

@PaladinNO Bruh...that trademark LOL
As opposed to Soon™, you know. xD

Paycheck arrived this morning, but I wasn't ready to rush-place the Convoy order at 4:30 AM. Hence ASAP™, indicating I will place the order As Soon As Possible - i.e. when I get home from work today.

Soon™ basically translates as "whenever", and as I will be making the order way before that, but I cannot do it before I get back home, ASAP™ was the only logical choice. ^^
