Yep, AlkaLeaks should ALWAYS be stored separately, and NOT stored inside devices

AlkaLeaks are ONLY to be used for Emergency use, and then removed

At the time it was already an old light I didn’t have use for, gotta say though, it’s definitely taken the beating in stride. I’m up north of HWY 2 if that tells you anything about the winters it has survived.

Couldn’t agree more about alkaleaks, it’s strange that they were in this light, around that time I bought a few 24pk boxes of L91’s for a little over $1 ea cell. Wish I loaded up more

No offense, but are you SURE that is a NEBO Baton Light?

From what your pictures show, it's difficult to be sure, but to me, it looks like another one of the cheap "baton type" flashlights that are out there

Do you have more/better pictures, showing the make/manufacturer?

I’m fairly certain it is, the gun shop I purchased it from only stocked nebo as far as their flashlight options. This was back in 2011ish, can’t recall the exact year. I don’t keep as detailed records as you RWT at least not back then. I checked the rest of the light, no other markings besides the model in the photo. It is chewed up though, I wasn’t careful with it innuse or when opening it to clear the alkaline residue.

Nebo intentionally made the light to be a physical tool first, a flashlight second.

Also the Batlight was introduced by Nebo in Mid.-2024.

Seems they reintroduced it, used to be nebo iprotec batlight. Here’s a video review from 2013.



Though it seems that one has a sleeve over both the bat surface and the handle. Mine came without either and a knurled handle. Otherwise it looks identical.

Yup, current version has a very thin, rubber, checkered sleeve on one end.
Bare, dimpled metal handle on the other end.

THANK god NO Anduril interface, I would NOT have bought any!

I would have used one to beat the Anduril out of the others!
