Nice shots! I'm starting to look forward to the longer nights the last few days instead of being disappointed. Hopefully that trend continues haha!

I agree!! I use to hate when it got dark at 5:30. Since I have become a Flashaholic I love it,,,more time for torches and more time to do things when I get home from my hike!:cool:

Agree guys, I use to hate darker nights, last few years I actually enjoy them. More use for lights, in fact I had a bit of a recharge party going on last night. 4 chargers same time, 14 cells,then repeat two more times. Mostly 18650's,6x16650's and odd 16340. More to do!

Cool pics , at first I thought of batman,or batdog with the ears!

Test for side by side pictures. TK75vn KT on Left-TK61vn V4 on right

FAIL-Preview had them side by side when I posted it was one below the other. When I get my TK75vn QUAD, I want to post a side by side w/ my "KT"

Anyone know how to do that? Picture reduction?

just crop the wider one about 10% or so.

If the weather holds I should be able to have a beam shot of my D1vn SST40 SD on Saturday night when it is scheduled to arrive.

I already found a "Sacrificial Lamb" ,,,a Tree that still has leaves on it!

Speaking of batteries and since my last few Beam shots are from my Manker U21vn, I wanted to do another max run time test to see where the batteries are in this regard.

Basically after 1 year use and 102 cycles compared to BRAND New on October 24,2016.

I ONLY use these batteries for 15 to 20 minutes then put a fresh one in. ,,,Because I love MAX output on the trail!:D

In my house[EDC'S] I like ML and Low!

This applies to BOTH tests:

Starting VOLTAGES: 4.20V

5 minute rest b/w increments

Battery: Vappower IMR 26650 4200mAh

October 24, 2016 TEST:

15m=3.94v
25m=3.83v
35m=3.71v

October 15, 2017 TEST

15M=3.935V
25M=3.83V
35M=3.70V

Basically identical. No capacity loss in terms of run time.GREAT batteries after 1 year of use.

When I tested these in my Opus last October I got 4307mAh and HKJ got 4316mAh. BOTH tested @ 1 Amp

My Opus is usually about 1% higher than HKJ. Sometimes up to 3 % higher.In comparison to HKJ'S numbers the original Capacity test is ONLY 0.0021% OFF!!!

Based on this run time test I would suspect If I did another capacity test it would be very close to that.

Nice. I've been really impressed with lithium ion batteries the last few years in particular.

The U21vn XPL is my Favorite Mid ranged light. I could use it every night and not get tired of it.

A great Light needs a great battery!

The iJoy 26650 INR is another great battery w/ even less voltage sag[after 15A]. So when My V'power are worn out, I just go down the street 1.5 miles to my hometown dealer,,,Liionwholesale.com.

Me too! I have some great batteries that just keep going! The first ones I think of are my 18650 3400mAh Orbtronic that have 500 cycles and will be 5 years old on 12.21.2017! I would guess they are ~ 70% to 75% capacity
