Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

Do we know if Gene has any desire to make one or are we just torturing ourselves?

I spoke with him long ago, and he said if there's enough demand he will do it.

Dear Gene,
We love you, we love Malkoff flashlights, and we love AAA batteries. Please combine these things we love to create a new thing for us to love.

Sincerely,

Well I hate twisty. You know almost every AAA light on the market is twisty. I will do my best to tell gene to make it with switch. No more twisty.. I wish

To clarify (and you still may hate it, lol) , I mean a "progressive" two-stage twist ... fully twisted = high, untwist ~ 1/4 = low, untwist full turn = off (mechanically locked out)

Definitely *not* twist to "cycle"

The the Surefire Titan plus shock me how bad it is! PWM, Green tint, twisty, no spare O rings ...etc
I hope Gene make it right for us now and bring us something special [emoji4]

Still click switch is perfect for me [emoji6]

I totally agree with archimedes. That interface would be ideal. I would even be in for a pre buy.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

Agreed with Archimedes as well. I'm not a fan of twist, untwist, but a progressive twisty would be just fine! Clicky is always nice on an AAA, too, just would beef up the size a little. We already know it's going to be overbuilt, and because it's a AAA, clicky would be a little excessive IMHO.

Re: Malkoff AAA Flashlight?

I wonder how many people Gene would need to commit to buying one. In order to convince him it might be worth making them, even for a one time run. Maybe 50 or more?

I count 23 ayes on this thread. Five others have contributed to the discussion, but it seems unclear whether they are committed.
