Let the rioting begin!
I farted and it didn't cost me a dime.
Tell us you've never owned a horse without telling us you've never owned a horse.A little higher, and folks will be trading in their cars for Horse-drawn buggies.
Yes. Where I am it costs about USD 7.50 to 8.00 per US gallon. (1.60 pounds per litre at UK prices)You, Americans, have very cheap fuel. I envy you. It costs around 2 eur per liter in EU. A gallon is about 3.8 liters.
Our petrol (gasoline) is mostly taxes. Our government is greedy.Cheap and less expensive do not have the same meaning.
We Americans pay less for gasoline; however, it is not cheap.
You are paying less than 50% of EU price on average. How is that not cheap?Cheap and less expensive do not have the same meaning.

What if we Americans had a 50% price increase in the milk we purchase? Would that make the price you pay for milk cheap? You are paying less than 50% of EU price on average. How is that not cheap?![]()
I agree. Less expensive gasoline doesn't mean cheap. Even at $2.00 per gallon I consider the fuel costs to drive exorbitant compared to the costs of other types of transportation. That's not even getting into fixed costs like insurance. In fact even if fuel were free driving would be too costly for my tastes.Cheap and less expensive do not have the same meaning.
