And on the subject of getting things to check out and give away... I just spoke with a guy who works at Dorcy, who I became friendly with around the time of Hurricane Sandy. He sent me a bunch of flashlights and batteries to give out to everyone in need during Sandy. He and I have kept in touch and since then he has sent a few lights out to me so that I could share them at the PF events and FCW events. I was asking him if he was busy with the pending hurricane Matthew, and during the conversation it came up that he had some new lights coming out, and he asked if I would take a look at some pre production samples and give him some feedback. I said sure, and mentioned the upcoming get together on the 22nd. He said he would get some lights out for me to bring to the get together. So I'm not sure exactly what is coming, but it's always cool to have new stuff to check out!

Everyone on the interested list just got a PM with my address in it. I reached out to a few other members again, hope they respond. I mentioned in the PM's, if you have a folding camp-type chair, please bring it. I'll pick up a bunch of bottled water, as well as soda. Chips, cookies, snacks, etc. would be great if you're inclined. There is a decent pizza place five miles away, so if everyone's ok with it, we can order up some dinner. The fire ring is up and running, the garden is taken down for the year, and we can do hot chocolate/ tea water when needed. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
