If not for moral reasons, then legal ones. Blink of an eye, you can go from defender to offender status in the eyes of the Law.
move to the mountains, become good friends with the sheriff, and he/she won't ask you what fertilizer you use to make your trees grow so nicely.

Btw do you all think the bodyguard 2 will be depedable like in stuff hits the fan world like if droped in mudd or etc etc

Apparently you're in the market for a gun. Have you gone to a range w/ some of the popular carry guns available for rental, and rented / tried a likely candidate or two yourself? That can be very enlightening when trying to make a decision. If possible, I would avoid buying a 'carry' gun I have never shot.

Wish we had ranges here closes one is in alabama and far as i understand you have to live in Alabama to use it lol. We do have columbus ga but ironcaly you need a gun to be safe there lol. Doubt ill get a gun ever but i like to read and see stuff abkut them just like the ps5 proi saw 100 vids but doubt ill get one lol

It depends. S&W's QC ain't what it used to be or what it should be - most of their guns run, but some lemons get out and will need replacement parts or possibly to send it back for repairs. S&W's customer service is pretty good and they will often send you parts you can change out yourself but if you have to send it in their turn around is currently 6 to 8 weeks typically.

As to the BG 2.0, I think it is a reliable if you get a good one. There have been a lot of problems with early guns and it seems that not all of the problems have been fixed on all new guns. Don't know about mud tests and such...there maybe some vids out there on that but to tell the truth outside of the military who is going to need to fire a pistol clogged with mud? I do know that with some of the full sized S&W's you are less likely to induce a limp wrist jam than you are with a comparable Glock.

Cropped your sentence, hope you don't mind
When Covid hit, stores removed ammo, they just didn't sell out. A local home improvement type store here had an unusual amount of ammo.
They had tons of options in every imaginable caliber, obscure stuff that literally nobody owned a firearm in.
Isles of it , ___then it was gone.

It's clear there was a directive to remove it from shelves.

So, when you ask what to have when the 'stuff' hits the fan,, ask yourself where you're going to get your ammo from.
That's actually more important.

I could get away with just a couple firearms, but I'm certainly going to have ammo for it.

It's not like they don't go together.

Those lights are tricky, if you use them to search or illuminate, you are pointing a loaded gun, in civilian world, it is an aggravated assault.
